GUIDELINES FOR A PROPER
INSTALLATION:
- ALWAYS MAKE SURE INDOOR UNIT HAS PRESSURE BEFORE STARTING WORK.
- WHEN RUNNING LINE SET (MINIMUM LENGTH 10 FT) (MAX LENGTH CHECK CHART)
- ALWAYS USE A TORQUE WRENCH TO TIGHTEN FLARE FITTINGS TO TORQUE SPECS
- ALWAYS USE 14/4 STRANDED WIRE FOR COMMU- NICATION WIRE OR OUTDOOR TO INDOOR UNIT WIRE.
- ALWAYS PRESSURE CHECK TO 350 PSI OR 400 PSI.
- ALWAYS SOAP BUBBLE FLARE FITTINGS AFTER PRESSURIZING SYSTEM.
- ALWAYS PULL VACUUM TO 500 MICRONS.
- WHEN ADDING REFRIGERANT FOR EXTRA PIPE LENGTH ALWAYS USE CORRECT FORMULA (INVER- TER R410A) (PIPE LENGTH- 7.5M) X 0.16 OZ/FT FOR 1⁄4 LIQUID LINE (PIPE LENGTH- 7.5M) X 0.32 OZ/FT FRO 3/8 LIQUID LINE.
- ALWAYS USE A SURGE PROTECTOR.
- ALWAYS TEST DRAIN BEFORE LEAVING HOME.
- ALWAYS MAKE SURE INDOOR UNIT HAS PRESSURE BEFORE STARTING WORK.
